NCFE Level 3 Award in Education and Training
The course is most suitable for teachers, tutors and trainers who may be working within a Further Education college, Adult and Community Learning Centre or Learning Provider and are currently not qualified. The course is also suitable for those not yet in a teaching or training role, but wish to be.

To understand the roles and responsibilities of teaching
To understand appropriate teaching and learning approaches within a candidate’s specialist area
To plan, deliver and evaluate micro-teaching sessions
To observe and assess micro-teaching sessions
To understand the use of assessment methods and record-keeping

How will I learn?
You will be taught in various ways, including practical sessions, but lessons will typically consist of active learning in a classroom environment.
How will I be assessed?
Assessment is through assignment coursework, and practical assessment in the classroom – this includes a 15-minute micro-teaching session, which you must deliver to your peers, and take part in the evaluation process of other micro-teaching sessions.
